What better way to relax after a days sailing

What a fabulous week sailing in and around Corfu . It was a pleasure to sail with these guys and create some memories. Will definitely do it again.

Trial of environmentally friendly anti foul paint

North Wales Power and Sail are pleased to be working with International Paints in the trial of the environmentally friendly anti foul paint solutions. Our location on the menai Strait with access to Caernarfon Bay and surrounding areas was a significant factor when choosing us for the trial. Thanks to Tim and Dean who spent 3 days working on the hull ensuring environmental conditions like hull temperature and dew point were appropriate for te application.

Sea breeze gets a make over thanks to Ruth Baldwin

It might be closed season for sailing but it's a very busy time for maintenance and giving Sea Breeze a well earned make over. Thanks to Ruth who seen here working tirelessly (with a little help from Peter !) re upholstering cushions . All ready for the 2024 season.

What a great spectacle as the RRS Sir David Attenborough arrives at King Edward Point on South Georgia for the first time.Couldn't have picked a better day to get a close up of her as she made her approach onto the newly constructed wharf.

With restrictions starting to ease we are hopeful that we will be back on the water in the not too distant future and that we will be able to have a fantastic 3 or 4 months out boating. As always we need to be considerate.

Covid-19 Situation

Government guidelines on the current Covid - 19

North Wales Power and Sail fully support the Government guidelines on the current Covid - 19 situation and we continue to monitor the evolving nature of this epidemic.

We have reviewed all our procedures and we have introduced additional practices to operate as safely as possible and to follow appropriate guidelines.

We are pleased therefore to advise that from the 1st August 2020 we will be able to offer a number of limited sailing experiences.

There will be further announcements following the Welsh Government review on July 10th at which point we hope to be able to advise when we will be able to recommence our full scheduled activities.
